Clothing swap guidelines:
BYOB - Bring Your Own (Tote) Bag!
Bring clothing, accessories, books, shoes, etc. Anything that you are ready to part ways with and you think someone else may enjoy! (gently worn, good condition). At the end of the program, we will be donating any unclaimed items to Our Closet. Items should be washed in advance (i.e don't bring anything dirty).
Take what you like, leave what you don't. There is no limit on the number of items you can bring or take home with you (keeping in mind our goal is to donate!).
Feel free to bring items for all seasons of the year (not just fall or winter).
Our goal is to have a range of sizes for all body types, but we cannot guarantee that there will be clothing items (or shoes!) in every size. We'll only have to offer what people bring to the event.
We recommend wearing clothes that you can easily try things on top of! There will not be a dressing room (though you can certainly use the bathroom to try things on).
This program is built for women and non-binary people who identify as Jewish, but people of every religious affiliation, race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability are welcome.
FAQs:
What’s JWI? Jewish Women International (JWI) is the leading Jewish organization working to empower women and girls – of every race, culture, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation – by ensuring and protecting their safety, building access to long-term economic security, and lifting and mentoring women leaders.

What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women and non-binary people together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them. Many of our programs focus on financial empowerment, healthy relationships, personal and professional development, and more!
What if I don’t know anyone and have never been to a YWIN event before? You are welcome! We are a welcoming, friendly group and we can’t wait to get to know you. Don’t want to go alone? Email jwiywin@jwi.org and we will help connect you with someone in advance of the event.
How can I get more involved? If you are interested in getting more involved, email us for more information.
Note: When we say “women” we refer to anyone who experience the world as female.
