The Boston Giving Circle is back!
Join us for an evening of philanthropy as we align our money with our values and make a collective impact.
Together, we’ll define a giving circle, discuss how YWIN Boston will run ours, and discuss where we’d like to allocate pooled *funds based on 4 options aligned with JWI’s core pillars (gender-based violence, economic security, and women’s leadership). By the end of the night, as a JWI YWIN Boston community, we will have made a meaningful collective gift to another organization!
Whether you’ve participated in a giving circle before or are hearing the term for the first time, all are encouraged to participate! This event will be capped at 10 participants.
*There is no financial minimum to join the giving circle; we suggest each participant contribute at least $18—or more if they can. More information on how to make your contribution will be shared in person.
FAQs:
What’s JWI? What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women and non-binary people together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them. Many of our programs focus on financial empowerment, healthy relationships, personal and professional development, and more!
What if I don’t know anyone and have never been to a YWIN event before? You are welcome! We are a welcoming, friendly group and we can’t wait to get to know you. Don’t want to go alone? Email rlevin@jwi.org and we will help connect you with someone in advance of the event.
