Do you love to hear about the newest books everyone is talking about? If so, join JWI YWIN LA for our book club event! The event will be on Wednesday, April 6th at 7pm. We will be discussing Midnight Library by Matt Haig, but feel free to join even if you have not read the book. Come for snacks and schmoozing from 7-7:30, and the discussion will start at 7:30. We hope to see you there!
FAQs:
What’s JWI? For 125 years, Jewish Women International (JWI) has inspired women to own their power and control their lives. We work to prevent violence and support survivors; to teach financial literacy; and to lift and mentor women leaders.
What’s the Young Women’s Impact Network? The network connects and supports local Jewish women and non-binary people in their 20s and 30s with empowering programs and leadership development.
What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women and non-binary people together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them. Many of our programs focus on financial empowerment and personal and professional development.
How can I get more involved? If you are interested in getting more involved, email Melanie Schaeffer at mschaeffer@jwi.org for more information.
In keeping with JWI’s commitment to serving the greater good, COVID-19 vaccines will be required. This program is built for women and non-binary people who identify as Jewish, but people of every religious affiliation, race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability are welcome.
