This year, JWI's Young Women's Impact Networks will come together for one unforgettable night, hosting Shabbat dinners simultaneously across the country. Join the Denver network for a deeply meaningful evening as we blend one of our most cherished traditions with a space for self-connection, healing, and honoring those we have lost.
Set in a warm and welcoming private residence, Shabbat for the Soul will offer an opportunity to reflect, recharge, and find strength in community. Through meditation, breathwork, and storytelling, we will embrace the spirit of Shabbat not only as a time of rest but also as a space for renewal and remembrance.

The evening will be guided by yoga teacher and Ayurveda practitioner Sarah Strausberg, who will lead us in meditation and breathwork to help us ground ourselves, connect with one another, and embrace the essence of Shabbat through mindfulness.
Together, we will light candles 🕯️, share stories 📖, and create deep connections 🤝 that honor Jewish women's strength, resilience, and achievements in honor of International Women’s Day. The JWI Board will provide a nourishing Shabbat meal, ensuring a welcoming space for all to come together in reflection and celebration.
This evening is an invitation to pause, honor the past, and step into the present with intention. Whether you are seeking a moment of peace, a sense of belonging, or a deeper connection to Shabbat, we welcome you to be part of this special gathering. 🌍✨
Sarah Strausberg
Growing up in four different countries with international parents was a beautifully challenging experience for Sarah It allowed her to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, transforming what might seem “weird” into something unique and beautiful, and helped her see individuals for who they truly are. This journey also deepened her understanding of what “home” really means. After searching for a stable place outside herself for many years, she discovered that home and stability reside within her, allowing her to feel at home anywhere in the world.
Her extensive studies as an Ayurveda Practitioner, along with her yoga studies in Nepal, reinforced this realization. These experiences provided her with additional tools to better understand others and to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
