For many, the holiday season is filled with joy, good food and time spent with loved ones. Yet, the season can also come with a side of stress - especially if you're spending time with people who may have differing values and viewpoints.
To get into the spirit of the season, join JWI YWIN Chicago for a Friendsgiving where we'll learn strategies for healthy conflict management from SHALVA, a domestic abuse agency serving the Chicagoland Jewish community. Mingle over a good meal with network friends new and old, and come away with communication tools for handling any disagreements during the holidays and beyond!
As this is a potluck-style meal, attendees are asked to bring a vegetarian, nut-free dish.
In keeping with JWI’s commitment to serving the greater good, COVID-19 vaccines will be required. This program is built for all young Jewish adults who experience the world as female.

FAQs:
What’s JWI? What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women and non-binary people together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them.
