Webinar - NETGroup: Domestic Violence Collaborative
Join us for the next meeting of the Domestic Violence Collaborative NETGroup, in collaboration with NJHSA (The Network). Thursday, January 30 at 1pm ET.
We will be joined by JWI (Jewish Women International)‘s Alana Blum, Associate Vice President of Community Response and Anna MacDonald, Community Liaison at JFS Hartford, who will be guiding us in a conversation about:
ADDRESSING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY THROUGH COLLECTIVE ACTION
Alana and Anna will be sharing how a supportive Jewish community is essential for Jewish survivors of domestic violence to heal and thrive. Unfortunately, stigma and silence frequently prevent Jewish domestic violence survivors from requesting the support they need from our community leaders.
Join us to:
1. Discuss the unique challenges faced by Jewish survivors of domestic violence.
2. Explore the critical role that collective action among Jewish organizations plays in addressing the needs of domestic violence survivors.
3.Share strategies, best practices, and successful program models for mobilizing Jewish communities around domestic violence.
4.Learn about JWI’s Here for You initiative which equips Jewish communal organizations and communities with training, tools, and resources to support survivors of domestic violence and their children.
5.Find out how you can create a local Here for You in your community.
