SUMMER SERIES 2020: Navigating the Virtual Job Search

  • Zoom United States (map)

Have you been wondering how to prepare for a zoom interview? Are you worried about what a gap in your resume may mean for your future career? In the wake of a global pandemic, college students are graduating in a new kind of job market. Join JWI for a conversation about best practices in professional development during the pandemic, the resume “gap” that many people may have as a result, and how this year may affect your job searches in the future. Learn about the importance of LinkedIn, best practices for interviews, and gain the tools and insight for how to navigate and succeed in your virtual job search.

JWI’s annual series of summer breakfast roundtables gathers D.C. interns and young professionals to discuss current issues unique to young women, and ways they can get involved and make a difference. This year, all of the sessions will be held over Zoom to include as many college-aged women as possible!
