Presenter Bio
Yvonne K. Brooks, a seasoned legal professional and alumna of the University of Baltimore School of Law, has dedicated over two decades to public service, influenced by her upbringing as a child of a US service member. Her diverse experiences across global settings have endowed her with a profound respect for cultural diversity and an adaptable, compassionate approach to her work in law and public administration. She has led significant initiatives in prosecutorial roles and inspector general work, focusing on economic crimes, fraud, and environmental protection. Currently, she serves as an active Board Member and instructor at the Association of Inspectors General and is the Deputy Inspector General at the Maryland Office of the Inspector General of Education.
